I’ll be the first to say that the NZ tourism videos have some cheesy music. However, the scenery is amazing, and whenever I watch them I keep thinking to myself, “Oh my gosh – in MAY I will be living there!” It always gets me so excited and makes all of the work and stress worthwhile. So take a watch and see where I’ll be living in less than 8 months, and then feel free to tell me how jealous you are 😉
Happy Friday!
Ummmm, you might want to think about starting to be an ‘outdoors’ girl.
You made me homesick, darn you!! 🙂
Thank you so much for the sweet congratulations… I’m so excited, it doesn’t feel real yet!
The jealousocity knows no bounds. For reals.
Man, i totally take for granted living in NZ sometimes and the absolute beauty that surrounds us here… its pretty incredible that we have all kinds of landscapes all within a small area 🙂
Not sure whether you would have caught this on Letterman the other night Jenny, but here is a clip of our Prime Minister John Key on David Letterman (of all things!). He was on there to do the Top 10 things about NZ segment while he is in New York for the UN summit thing. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6b3VzcK2xqM
Maggie, I would personally recommend that your husband comes to the University of Auckland to do his PhD work… either that, or Otago University. But I’m partial to Auckland Uni because I graduated from there recently 🙂 Plus Auckland Uni is well-known for its research and is respected abroad. But I guess part of it depends on what area of research your husband’s PhD is in.
Incredible. We have talked about moving abroad for the Mr. to do his PhD work. NZ looks like a fabulous choice!
Wow! It is stunningly beautiful! I love feeling excited about moving to a new location (heaven knows we’ve done enough moving in the past few years)… and you’re not only moving to a new place, but a new country! Wow! Are ya’ll anticipating that this will be a permanent relocation?
It’s so pretty that it looks surreal!
I am so jealous!
