Laughter is one of the keys to a great marriage, and Chris and I crack each other up.  Sometimes, it’s all I can do to keep from snorting in public when he’s around, and he’s been known to laugh uncontrollably if I just look at him the wrong right way.  I think that being able to laugh at your spouse and being able to laugh at yourself is a healthy, good thing, and I am so glad that Chris agrees because I’m about to share something that I find hilarious!

I was going through some of my old files yesterday and came across this video that Chris made about a year and a half ago.  We were literally snowed in – the roads were shut, Purdue was closed down, and people were getting fined $500 for driving unless it was an emergency.  Chris was stuck in the house with me and didn’t have enough to do, so he decided to experiment with the new digital video camera he’d bought me for Christmas.  The resulting video was not pretty!  Professor, he is – videographer, he is not.  Some of my favorite highlights from the movie: when he talks to Bear in a high-pitched voice, the 2 times he falls in the snow (once while running up the hill, and then again while coming down it), and his background music choices – it’s so bad, you can’t help but laugh!

I’d forgotten how tiny our old apartment was – sheesh!

I’m trying to convince Chris to make another video, but he hasn’t done it yet.  Maybe if you all ask him nicely, he will 🙂
