Hi Everyone! I hope you have all had a good Christmas and a Happy New Year! This last year has been one of changes for me and Chris. Looking back, here is some of the stuff that has happened:

1. I transitioned from working with the anesthesiologists at the hospital to working as a nursing assistant in the Resource Team (more flexibility for school)
2. Chris finished his year-long stay at Notre Dame
3. I was accepted into the accelerated BSN program at Purdue and started school in May
4. Chris’ little brother Michael was married in July and we flew down to GA for the event
5. In August we spent an amazing 2 weeks at the Hyatt Sunset Harbor in Key West, FL
6. Two nieces were added to the family: Carrie and Ella
7. Chris went on the job market in October
8. My younger brother Erik got engaged to long-time girlfriend Angie
9. We celebrated our 3-year anniversary
10. My older brother Dirk got married to Becca in Muncie, IN
11. We ended the year by spending 4 days in Baltimore, MD so that Chris could attend job interviews and I and Chris’ mom could explore the city!

And now looking ahead into 2008:
1. My brother Erik is getting married in February to Angie
2 Chris will graduate in May with his PhD
3. I will graduate August 2nd with my BSN
4. Chris will get a job somewhere in the United States – right now the options are Whitworth University (Spokane), Calvin College (Grand Rapids), Eastern University (St. Davids, PA) and Concordia College (Moorhead, MN)… or he will get a post-doctoral fellowship at Notre Dame…

Things are kind of up in the air, in case you can’t tell! Regardless, we are both looking forward to a great year in 2008!
