I’m quite pleased with my most recent purchase – this little table from a local charity shop:

It has a few scratches and marks, but for only $69.00 {a good price in NZ},  I wasn’t going to kick up a fuss.  Besides, now my bromeliad has a new home with plenty of sunshine.

This may sound silly, but I prayed for this table!  I’ve been looking for one that would work in our lounge, and I really wanted to find one before my sister gets here Sunday.  Before we headed out the door I said a quick prayer that there would be a table that I would like, and what do you know?  There it was!  Thank you, Lord, and thank you to my strong husband who carried it the 1/3 of a mile back to our place.  He braved several intersections, hills, crowds, and didn’t mind the weird looks people sent his way 🙂 Now, to find 1 more table for around the couches and 2 more for in the bedroom.  I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled!
