Yesterday marked the end of Daylight Savings Time. We took the morning pretty gently, not waking up till 8am (which was 7am the day before) and greeting the day with waffles and lots of tea (or coffee, in Chris’ case).
Because it was a somewhat odd day with different hours, we decided to skip Sunday School and just head to church for the sermon and children’s church. Joe gave us an earful on the way in, commenting on how he was very disappointed that we weren’t going to be there for Sunday School. I think he was mainly upset because he’d miss out on the snacks!
Later, the misty-rainy skies cleared and we were able to spend some time outside. The boys had a great time riding their bikes and later playing with some of the neighborhood kids in an impromptu water balloon/water gun battle.
I love these boys 🙂
