Today, I’m thankful for Andrea, Brooke, Catherine, Emma, Erin, Danae, Jane, Rebecca, and Shannon.
All of the above were at my baby shower on Saturday. It was so much fun! During one of the many moments of laughter and chit-chat, I looked out and felt a lot of gratitude. One of my worries regarding moving so far away from home was that it would be difficult to make friends. It’s hard to be a 24-hour-trip away from family, especially during a first pregnancy. I’m really thankful for all of these new friends…
I’ve met some of them through the blog and some of them through our church. The hosts held the shower at our place, which might seem a bit different but worked out best for everyone. It was fun, relaxed, and all those present had a great time {including baby boy}!
There are many other wonderful women that I’ve met over here who, for various reasons, weren’t able to attend. I know that some of you read this blog, and I want to make sure you know that I thank God for you guys, too!
